Research:

Dr. Wang’s research interests focus on biomechanics of rehabilitation: including three dimensional kinematic and kinetic analyses of wheelchair locomotion, neuromuscular function in wheelchair locomotion and rehabilitation; and examining the effects of Tai Chi exercise on physical and psychosocial functions for different populations. Dr. Wang’s research has been funded by the National Institute on Disability and Rehabilitation Research, by Paralyzed Veterans of America, and by American Association of Retired Persons.
