Associate Dean Second to Receive Fellows Award in Lewis College History
Congratulations to Associate Dean for Research Andrew Butler for receiving the Association of Schools of Allied Health Professionals (ASAHP) Fellows Award at the annual meeting on October 11. The ASAHP Fellows program recognizes those members who have contributed significantly to allied health as administrators, educators, clinicians, or researchers.
Since the award’s inception in 1981, 180 Fellows have been inducted. Dr. Butler, a professor in the Department of Physical Therapy, is only the second Georgia State University faculty member inducted. The late Dr. J. Rhodes Haverty, the Byrdine F. Lewis College of Nursing and Health Professions’ founding dean, was inducted during the award’s inaugural year.
