The Department of Physical Therapy at Georgia State University will participate in the Physical Therapist Centralized Application Service, known as PTCAS, beginning July 2014.  Applicants applying to the entry-level doctor of physical therapist education program will apply online using the PTCAS application.  To learn more about the PTCAS application process, visit

The Doctor of Physical Therapy program is an entry-level professional program for the student who holds a baccalaureate degree in any field of study. The degree must be completed prior to matriculation into the DPT program and should be in a student’s area of interest. The admissions process begins early July. Only applications complete and verified by the appropriate deadline will be reviewed.

The PTCAS application portal opens July 5, 2019. Please keep this in mind when sending PTCAS admission materials.

The PTCAS application/fee and supplemental GSU Graduate application/fee are required to apply. It is your responsibility to submit the application and fee in sufficient time to meet the deadline. Here is the link to the supplemental application:

It is your choice whether you will abide by the suggested submission dates below. It is the responsibility of the applicant to submit admission materials in sufficient time to meet the appropriate deadline.  PTCAS processing may take up to 5 weeks, once all required materials are received. E-submit as soon as your application is done. Don't wait for PTCAS to receive your materials. Please note what changes can be made to your PTCAS application after e-submitting here.
